Water is one of the four basic components of concrete, along with aggregates and cement. Controlling humidity is therefore an important factor in concrete production.

As concrete formulations are based on dry products, it is essential not to neglect the moisture content of the aggregate, in order to guarantee the proportion of aggregate defined by the formulation, at the risk of not obtaining the desired concrete.

Controlling moisture content therefore makes it possible to :
